Battle droids and droidekas

Post by thgilsrooc » Mon Aug 27, 2007 6:14 pm

I have a fully spec'd out lvl90 engineer, but really use it for chips, interplanetary droids, and astromechs. I'm thinking of ramping him up to include battle droids and droidekas.

With regard to the armor modules, do the layers used to craft them reflect on the armor of the droid? IS it critical? Secondly, do the armor modules stack, ie can I use two lvl6 armor layers? Or does it cap with just one?

How useful are they in combat? I rarely see any out but for show in a cantina.

While I'm not totally sure on them stacking I usually throw in two lvl 6 modules so that if SOE changes the system, they're capped as it is.

As for how the armor modules effect them, currently there's no difference in quality.

I believe you can use two level 3 or 4's to cap droid armor. They also are more lenient on resource requirements.
