i need an R2 for a dancer what socket cluster works best? Client needs all 6 effects plus barker and storage. would a pit droid work for these requirements?

Re: Dancer's droid
An R2 droid has not much to do with a pit droid, both are droids, very different types thoDe'vinchi wrote:i need an R2 for a dancer what socket cluster works best? Client needs all 6 effects plus barker and storage. would a pit droid work for these requirements?

The 6 effect modules + barker + storage, all in all you need room for 8 non-combat service modules, but no such droid chassis exists. By combining socket clusters (not the combat-only cluster) with module slots the maximum is 6 non-combat service modules, your client need to select between the 8 wishes.
A pit droid takes just 3 service modules = not an option.
There are some chassis that takes 6 service modules:
Binary Load Lifter, Advanced -- probably not an option

Mining Droid MK3 -- hardly an option
R3 Droid, Advanced -- the most common entertainer friend

As you see, to max out the non-combat droid modules you probably will have to whip together a second cousin to R2D2

Here are a link to all looks and how many "service modules" or "combat capable modules" they take: http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/post ... _id=978788

The BLL, Advanced takes 1 general module cluster for a total of 3 service modules - not 6.Zimoon wrote:An R2 droid has not much to do with a pit droid, both are droids, very different types thoDe'vinchi wrote:i need an R2 for a dancer what socket cluster works best? The R3, Advanced and the Mining Droid Mk 3 are the only 2 droids that can take 6 service modules.
And for the OP - if you really need an R2 the advanced version can take 5 service modules.

Re: Dancer's droid
I did not say the BLL-Adv took 6 clusters, but that it takes 6 service modules --- but now I see that I misread the "defensive" for "service" --- ***wipes glasses*** // ***again*** --- and I know they cleaned up the mess quite a lot with the DE-upgrade
