Hello!
Great work so far. Just transfered my inventory from Myres :)

Short question: Is it right that in a guard the inventory resources arent shown yet? In Myres, I normally show myself the best stored resource of a filter as a reference.

Well the inventory part looks great so far. I'm going to guess filtering/coloring/etc is comming in a later stage :)

Awesome update. Loving the inventory feature.

Where does SWGAide look for the 'notes' file when importing in inventory?

Thanks, and yes. I am still undecided on whether the "guards" should do that, or not. It is definitely not impossible.

Yes, definitely.

In the station, account_name directory (such as SWG\profiles\account_name\ )). But yes, you just reminded me that notes nowadays can be stored wherever which makes the whole notes thing a mess. If you create a notes file in-game such as /note abcde, no more than that, then it will end up in the list of notes files at SWGAide's main view. Or vice versa.

Back to the cave, coding :)

cool, thanks for the reply. Seems you need to reload the JAR for it to find the notes.txt once created.

Really? I will look into that. You are probably right. It was almost two years since I made that part of the underlying infrastructure so I guess I has no real reason to add auto-reload into it.

Workaround: For now you can create a new notes file from SWGAide by either
  • right-click the node for the station at the main view, in the tree of stations, galaxies and characters, and create the new notes file there and load it in game without the trailing TXT, or ...
  • right click any notes file in the correct station and create new, or
  • select a notes file in the correct station and use the Edit menu to create a new notes file
The choices are there, but reloading should be added. Thanks for pointing it out.

Question about guards.

Ok, so lets say I want to know about every copper that has a OQ that is 96%. I make a guard that is set to 960, but there is one problem not all copper has a OQ cap of 1000.

Is the solution to set the OQ to 100 and the threshold to 960?

Well, OQ is always capped at 1000 :P maybe you can choose another stat for your example, like CD :P

I don't know swgaide, but I'm pretty pretty sure you can't. I have talked with Zimoon about the possibility to include in the next version of JnF's a small procedure to export all your resources in a file "swgaide compatible"

It should take place in version 2.1 of the tool.

There is a bug, a fix is on its way, hopefully we will have something for tomorrow. Basically you are right, you need to have a guard with 100% on for example CD and set the threshold to 960.

Actually it is enough to save a comma separated file with resource name and amount, nothing else is really necessary. Just save the file as a TXT file where your other notes files are for that account.

Hi SWGAide-Team,

nice progress, since I had my swg-summer-break!
At the first sight, these new features are great. The only thing I will have to test a bit more, is the inventory-feature!
But the resource-table and the filter is great :)

I just read about the planned "Monitor"-Feature too... really nice idea :)
How about some kind of Factory-Monitor? Where you may enter the number of items to be produces and the time per object - and the monitor will start an alarm, when the factory is finished?!

Great work!

Welcome back, we've missed you :)

Idea is noted, a manufacture tab. Possibly some other related ideas can go into such a tab too.

Do you know any Java programmers? Tell them to tell me ;)
