Yeah I finally got an iphone and just love all the cool and useful apps... Not being a programmer myself I have no idea what kind of work it would involve to make an app for swgcraft, mainly for the "My Guards". Wouldn't it be nice to get a notice on your phone as soon as that awesome metal spawn.

http://www.swgcraft.org/forums/viewtopi ... =29&t=2013 is the only attempt I know of.

The problem with developing iPhone apps is that you need a license to distribute it on the App Store. These licenses cost $99 per year. Also, to use the SDK (Software Development Kit), you need an Intel Mac running OS X Leopard (Or Snow Leopard); you can't use Windows, sadly :/

This would be so cool. A total time-waster (if I'm away from my PC and using my phone, it's not like I can go get those resources anyway) but I would still love to have an app like that anyway, the crafting geek in me I guess. The one linked above actually looks like it was pretty nice, but also probably pretty out of date?
