Re: Schematic Categories
I will try to add more as I gather information to update my database for the swgmrp that I have been working on (http://www.swgcraft.co.uk/forums/viewto ... =29&t=1234)
I am attempting to verify all data as I enter it, so that all schematic data is up-to-date and accurate. Hard to find accurate data for post-CU and post-NGE. And I only have 2 accounts on SWG, so only 4 characters. Not enough to create a character for every profession. And not much in the way of credits to purchase all looted schematics. I am entering them as I aquire them.
If you get a chance, check out www.swgmrp.com and let me know what you think.

Re: Schematic Categories
It seems as there are a category "Capacitor Discharge Unit" which holds the schematic with the very same name plus its friend the "Advanced Capacitor Discharge Unit". And a few more:
Please add as categories for DE:
Capacitor Discharge Unit
Redundant Power Supply
Diagnostic Circuit
Repair Unit Casing
Unit Delivery Cartridge

Re: Schematic Categories
Hopefully someone can set up a few missing droid module categories for me. I'm not sure how you guys want to handle modules that belong to more than one category, but here is what we already have, followed by what we need...
We have these categories and looks they are working as intended, but may need '[Droid Component]' appended on the end (I'm not real clear on what role the [] plays)...
These are the exact names of the single module categories called for in the Droid Deed schematics...

- Base Droid Personality Chip []
- Droid Defensive Module Harness []
These are the exact names of the single module categories called for in the Droid Deed schematics...
- Droid Combat Module (modules in this category can also be used in 'Combat Capable Service Modules)
- Combat Capable Service Modules is listed within the SWGCraft db as 'Combat Capable Service Modules [Droid Service Module Harness]', but I don't think that is correct since this category of modules includes both 'Droid Combat Module' and 'Droid Service Module Harness'
- Droid Service Module Harness (modules in this category can also be used in 'Combat Capable Service Modules)
- Socket Cluster - Combat Modules Only (modules in this category include all the modules in the 'Droid Combat Module' category)
- Socket Cluster - Combat and General Modules (modules in this category include all the modules in both of the 'Droid Combat Module' and 'Droid Service Module Harness' categories)
- Socket Cluster - General Modules Only (modules in this category include all the modules in the 'Droid Service Module Harness' category)
Re: Schematic Categories
So the structure would be something like this?
The [] denotes what category the category belongs to (Its parent category). As such, the above structure would result in:
Code: Select all
Combat Capable Service Modules
Socket Cluster - Combat and General Modules
Socket Cluster - Combat Modules Only
Droid Combat Module
Socket Cluster - General Modules Only
Droid Service Module Harness
Code: Select all
Combat Capable Service Modules[]
Socket Cluster - Combat and General Modules[Combat Capable Service Modules]
Socket Cluster - Combat Modules Only[Socket Cluster - Combat and General Modules]
Droid Combat Module[Socket Cluster - Combat Modules Only]
Socket Cluster - General Modules Only[Socket Cluster - Combat and General Modules]
Droid Service Module Harness[Socket Cluster - General Modules Only]
Re: Schematic Categories
I'm not sure if I understand the structure correctly or not...
Each of the 7 droid combat modules (1 original and 6 GU12 modules) would fall into these four categories only: Droid Combat Module, Combat Capable Service Modules, Socket Cluster - Combat Modules Only, and Socket Cluster - Combat and General Modules. If I flagged these with the category 'Droid Combat Module', then would they automatically be included in the the other three categories?
Module - Droid Combat
Module - Droid Combat - Droideka Shield
Module - Droid Combat - Electric Shocker
Module - Droid Combat - Flame Jet
Module - Droid Combat - Rapid Discharge Batteries
Module - Droid Combat - Regenerative Plating
Module - Droid Combat - Torture Panel
A small sampling of service modules (crafting stations, for example) would fall into these four categories only: Droid Service Module Harness, Combat Capable Service Modules, Socket Cluster - General Modules Only, and Socket Cluster - Combat and General Modules. If I flagged these with the category 'Droid Service Module Harness', then would they automatically be included in the the other three categories?
Module - Crafting Station - Clothing
Module - Crafting Station - Foods
Module - Crafting Station - Ship Components
Module - Crafting Station - Structures
Module - Crafting Station - Weapons
If the answer to both of those questions is yes, then it should work fine.

Re: Schematic Categories
Yes, that would happen.
I've rerouted the wiring now, but I see that a lot of schematics have the Combat Capable Service Modules category: http://www.swgcraft.org/dev/schematics_ ... php?id=432
Shouldn't these be in one of the new subcategories?

Re: Schematic Categories
They should and I'll get to work on them once you have all the categories in place. I'm still in the process of working on all the Droid schematic changes in GU12.
Re: Schematic Categories
Can these be used in slots that call for Droid Component?Valtier wrote:We have these categories and looks they are working as intended, but may need '[Droid Component]' appended on the end (I'm not real clear on what role the [] plays)...

I have added the other categories you requested
