There really isn't a 'Droid Component' slot in which a schematic would call for the whole category. 'Droid Component' is an umbrella category similar to leaf nodes on the bazaar terminals and crafting tools, in the same way 'Droid Deeds' and 'Electronics Components' are.

If the sole purpose of categories is only to identify a sub group of components that can be called for in a schematic, then you could probably remove these categories, since they do not serve that purpose...

Droid
Droid Component
Droid Deed
Droid Repair Tools

Thank you for all setting up those categories, I'll get to work on those schematics right away.

Nah, they're ok to have around, I think the categories on this site were originally going to resemble the Bazaar

just a quick question before any big changes, are we talking abt the DE-upgrade or the old stuff?

I am asking simply since I was under the impression the old system really was OK. just that the game used wordings that could make a professor in linguistics confused. and then I mean those components I glanced above.

Reading forum on my mobile in bed so no research possible ;)

Have a look in the DE 101 guide at the official forums to figure out.

Heh, well I updated all the Droid Modules using the new categories earlier this afternoon as well as all the other changes to Droid Engineering schematics in GU12 just a few mins ago. I'm a six year Droid Engineering vet and I promise the way the module categories were set up previous to the changes Sobuno implemented today were not functioning correctly and some of the pre-GU12 modules were not categorized at all. As far as I can tell they are now showing up correctly in the click through links.

Previous to GU12 there was only one 'Droid Combat module', but now there are seven. So the old category system may have functioned somewhat correctly due to pointing to a single module rather than a group of modules.

I need a few changes and additional categories for Cybernetics...

Please add an 'Armor Cores' category, then add these three already existing categories as subcategories to Armor Cores: Assault Armor Cores, Battle Armor Cores, and Reconnaissance Armor Cores.

I also need these three categories added...

Uni-Core Cybernetic Enhancement Module
Dual-Core Cybernetic Enhancement Module
Tri-Core Cybernetic Enhancement Module

I get a strange debug error when I add 'Armor Power Bit' to a schematic.

Good, good. I have no reason to mistrust anybody, you the least :)

I just wanted to make sure the structure is kept robust. Unfortunately I have not had the time reading up on GU12, SWGAide has kept me away from life 8)

Hmm...I don't think so. I'll know for sure after I get all the schematics loaded up. Oh, btw since I duplicated an armor schematic to use in setting Athakam Medtech Chest Cavity, it shows as Armor Crafting exp. I don't know how to edit that part of even it matters.

Regarding the XP type, I was told there is only one type of crafting XP these days so they're just data that really should be deleted

Well, with game update 15, comes more schematic changes :)

Need 2 Component Categories added for the new Construction Tools:

Material Enhancers and Manufacturing Boosters
I THINK there are loot items that fit these two categories.

Also, there are several more loot items that are needed to be added for the Construction Tools:

High Density Plating
Energy Absorbant Coating
Engine Booster
Weapon Stabilizers
High Frequency Landing Beacon
Signal Amplifier
Adrenalin Stimulant
Bacta Injectors
Heat resistant wiring
High Performance Circuit Board
Rapid Firing Mechanism
Heat Absorbent Casing

These categories contain the the items you listed, right? I have not yet played the new GCW stuff myself, somebody might chime in and confirm.

At this point I believe Sobuno is figuring out how to do with non-craftable items. The schematics themselves just need to refer to the proper category. Once the component categories are confirmed Sobuno will add them as soon as possible, I am not empowered ;)

well. The 2 new categories Material Enhancers and
Manufacturing Boosters are definately needed. Do not have a list yet of what loot items (from sliced supply terminals) that are used in those categories.

As for the items I listed, those are separate loot items which are also provided form supply terminals and are also needed to craft the Construction tools. They are NOT items used in the 2 new categories I am requesting.

Does that make more sense?

OK, new non-craftable items you can just add yourself using the link in the guide, fairly much towards the end. Being in a rush and do not have the time ti look it up...
