Problem on Sunrunner (again)

Post by Monty Burns » Tue Jul 08, 2008 8:11 am

Name: Apigo
Class: Naboo Water Vapor
DR: 565
OQ: 897

I am trying to add this resource but it wont take as there is already a previous resource named Apigo entered however it was incorrectly spelled and should have been Apigao a Class 3 radioactive, it would appear that it was then re-entered correctly but the incorrect version was left in the system and I cannot seem to delete or update it.

Can someone that has a clue please delete "Apigo" so the new one can be entered.

:)

I renamed it to Apigodeletethis in that the Admins can delete it later on, this would allow you to add Apigo once again, marking it as available as well.

I do not have admin rights to delete resources, I think only Slyvampy and Sobuno do.

Does it work?

Great, I don't know if you have the ability to rename resources as I did, but if you have then this is the way to go. Plus post what you did in here.

Unless Sobuno has other suggestions??

You do have the ability to remove resources, but I forgot about those planetless resources from the import of SWGCraft.com. There's a new link on the Show Resource page (http://www.swgcraft.co.uk/dev/show_reso ... ?id=820577) for administrators/moderators, which will remove the resource from the database entirely.

Cool, really cool.

So, in short, regular members can possibly rename a faulty resource to something odd such as Zimoondeletethis, and post a notice about it in here, and some admin/mod can delete it. Great.

Thank you.

And so "Youwish" is finally gone from the Kettemoor resource pool :) This one has annoyed me in searches for the past year.

:D

Btw. just changed a bit of code to make Find Resources work faster for searches that aren't based on the name, so let me know if something's wrong
