Starting off...

Ok, I am new to SWG and I did the structures Grind. But now I don't know what to do. I can never get many good resources so I am glad I found this site.
I don't know what to start doing as the economy is so low that no one really needs much houses etc.
What is a good thing to start doing? I hear people on about how they want to get their experimentation as high as possible and I sit here thinking "wtf".

Anyone here that is on Valcyn that can help me?

Im not on Valcyn, but...
In architect the only thing you need ubber resources, or even to experiment on, is harvesters. All other structures (houses, factories, all city structures) and furniture can be made with low quality resources. There are a few pieces of furniture only available to 'Master Architects" that require some named resources, a few of which only spawn rarely (upto 6 months to a year)
You are on Naboo? The Naboo houses are very popular. Ild stock a vendor with small, med and large Naboo houses, then stock a seperate vendor with furniture. Keep looking for good durally steel to make harvesters with. To be honest harvester sales are where the money is in architect.
Meanwhile take a look at the shipwright side of the profession. It will take you much longer to gather good resources for shipwright. But take a look at what you will need and get a start on it.

I noticed a higher demand on guild halls here on Chimaera too. Maybe you want to stock these up also. But as the poster above stated there is not much money in furniture unless you sell really alot of it. :?

Savacc, i'm gonna need your help on this response, so stick around...

Stobbart, one of the reasons I wanted to be a ShipWright is because i was intrigued by the reverse engineering of ship components. If you've mastered the structure trees then consider what RE has to offer. You can create one of a kind components that all those fly boy/ miner escorts would love to throw their bulging purses at. I've been stocking my looted parts for just that purpose. Now, all I have to do is master structures, and, oh yea, figure out how to RE parts. Is there a way to make a manufacture schematic of a RE'd ship part?

No you can not make a factory schematic of an RE project. Nice try though.

Not sure of the market today since i just returned but, as mentioned my big sellers were harvestors, guild halls and factories. On the easy side Lights, paintings and plants did well but, overall Torches sold better then any of the other furniture items.
