Cities

Post by redwhitenblue » Wed Dec 03, 2008 10:28 am

I have realized my ultimate dream as an Architect and have started a city. Unfortunately I am still small and can only place small gardens. Is there a guide anywhere that lists city levels and rewards? Plus I'm having problems with the gardens I'm making - they're turning out to be for the wrong planets. How can I make sure I get a garden for the planet I'm on?

For gardens, try Crazy Durni and see what they are listed as. I haven't tried gardens yet, lacking time, so I cannot advise you.

City levels: I believe this link will help you.

Thanks for the help. The first link wasn't what I was looking for, but I ran across the answer somewhere else. During the step where you name your product, there is a drop down bar. From there you choose your planet as well as your design. Otherwise it defaults to Corellia/Talus.

You got your own town going? Where'd you put it?

Hehe, haven't checked my posts in a while...

I am Mayor of Catalina Market, Rori - home to several crafters and always room for one more.

Are you on the galaxy map? You got a wp?

I already have a workshop on Rori. I can move it.

Not on the map yet, but we would love to have you join us! The waypoint is 1548,75,-5884 about 2200m away from the Rebel Outpost.

I have noticed the option for putting skill trainers in my city. What types are available and what do they do?

Dunno about that, but I staked out a claim there. Is this town affiliated with a guild?

They do nothing. It is a holdover from pre NGE days when you had to go to a trainer, or player who knew the skill, to "learn" new skills after you gained the necessary xp to qualify for them.

We have a guild that we started, but it's mostly rebel/freelance piloting. I have no problems having people from other guilds moving into my city, although I'm not sure what my citizens would think about having imps around. :? If you are interested in joining our little guild you can mail Tinkerer or Skaebi in game.

About the skill trainers, good thing I didn't bother trying to place one. I sure am glad we don't have to do that now, it's bad enough when flying.

Yes, you got another kind of XP for training other players. And as far as I remember, you needed that XP to open the advanced trees of the professions.
