OK before i start. i have looked for the past 2 days and all i can find is what to re for bits and modifiers..i have made full runs of shirts/pants to use while reing.. i have yet to make any armor or weapons for reing.. i am tring to find the most cost/time effective way to make those.. is there a simple weapon to make with a slot for reing.. like a simple knife. and the same question for armor. I know you can just give the bit + modifier to the armorer and De to make the proper bit, but to make an exotic for weapon and chest peice. you have to re it or ?

I am not certain what you are asking here. Making an exotic mod is really no different from making a regular mod.

Survival Knife is the best weapon schematic to use for REing to make +35 powerbits using an engineer.

Hi Pachell,
Welcome around :D

This is from the nearby guide "Reverse Engineering 101"
The iterative process will use up a large number of crafted clothings, armor pieces, or weapons, all with sockets; items such as casual shoes, BH belt, or decorative knifes are suggested
However, it is not clear to me excatly what you want to know beyond the quote.

Only a Domestic can do the shirt SEA, only a DE can do the weapon SEA, and only a Munitions can do the breastplate SEA. Do you have all 3 kinds of traders?

Either way, any of the 3 professions can boost powerbits all the way to 35, it is just for assembling the final SEA that the proper profession is necessary.

I believe most AS's use belts, low resource requirements.

Indeed, I use the Mabari belt with recycled resources.

I just spent a few days making fourty 35 powerbits, now I'm off to more exciting stuff, like watching the snow melt outside. At least now all my traders have their full crafting and RE-suits. Now for the fun part, making RE pups...
