Re: Newbie Questions

Hi there! I've been playing SWG for three months and have made a trader. Up to now she's been a tailor, and it's been fun putting tons of pretty outfits on sale, but now I want to try my hand at cooking. I've got a few questions. Firstly, when foraging my Spy alt keeps finding cute little fruits an...

Re: What factories?

While I haven't actually used the frier I know that it takes the exceptional egg and milk collection pieces, making them extremely valuable and too expensive to buy for someone like me. I believe it also takes foraging fruits, but the recipe calls for cereal so I don't know if that's just the strai...

Re: Bio Tissue

I have rancor pre-cu bile with stats then I have it with not stats and they say with kyrat tissue. Maybe the glowie weapon schmatics can use the tissue something too look into. It just seems foolish too have the tissue in the game without any use. There are tons of things in the game that have been...

Re: I have been thinking about an alternative to grinding

... After reading Theory of Fun , by Ralph Coster (I think that he at that time was working with SWG), I have though a lot around the dilemma all game developers have, at least in the world of MMOs: A game must be fun and its content must last for a long time. These two are hard to combine, and as ...

Re: What factories?

... We poor chefs have to use our hard won resources ... I have a vague memory that this indeed was as a response to the player whining that there was nothing possible to sell for low-level Chefs at that point in time. Almost the same time as we got that fried ice-cream stuff which also requires ha...

Re: What factories?

The pet supplements are made by combining the work of a chef and a Muini's trader. The Chef makes the bio component, which can be factory run in a food factory, then hands that over to the Munis who then determines the type of supplement (which letter to make and if it will be advanced or not). I wi...

FISHING!?! What's this fishing you refer to?

I make fish supplements for pets, but they require no fish to make! :!:

Re: I have been thinking about an alternative to grinding

I think it also comes down to the definition of grinding. Someone above mentioned that the Legacy can be a grind after the 1st or 2nd time you do (The only reason I only have 2 active toons, I REALLY don't want to do the the Legacy again.) The combat toons now have a way around this by using the var...

Re: Multiple Armors or Multiple bags of SEAs?

Just to clarify some thing for people that don't know, yes, you can make a socket tool for removing the SEA from the sockets. However, those SEAs are destroyed, you don't recover it. Something to consider. I think that solves it then. I will just have to bite the cryobeam and have multiple suits ma...

Re: Resource sampling macro

it will work with the pet/droid. Just remember to tell the pet/droid to 'stay' or he will follow you as you move around. What kind of droid can you use. I've been grinding a pet its level 16 atm. How do you train the pet too sample resources or the droid or are they two different things . An...

Re: Where is the best place to put a shop?

I find that most pvp oriented guilds will decline their crafters tents in the city its because they fear there city will be known as " tent city " which is ridiculous. And after you join a guild this happened too me I didn't have a naboo home but a generic home and was told too place my home on the...

Re: Where is the best place to put a shop?

I think location can have something to do with success, or at least the location of the nearest shuttleport has a huge impact for most items. I'm transfer to Flurry with my guild. We were going to set up our city on a planet that was overpopulated, so we couldn't get a shuttle established. All of ou...

Multiple Armors or Multiple bags of SEAs?

Like many folks out there, I want to try a few set ups for my armor. I am a BH (not a very good one), and I have heard several rumors of the SEAs and standard attachments that will help the most. My question boils down to this: Would it be easier and/or cheaper to swap out the attachments as I need ...

Re: Beginners Tips & Hints Compiled

My only tip to the beginner is to try and join a guild/Player Association as soon as possible. Here are my reasons: PAs will usually have cities. These cities will typically have free housing available. This will save a little money, we all know how precious this is when first starting out. Today's ...
