You do need expertise to garuntee (sp?) items that allow a socket to gain that socket, otherwise it may or may not appear.

I did that too, it was quite frustrating at first. Always trying to find the game mechanic loopholes to do things...crafting in my Yacht is always fun.

Open your inventory and double click on the crafting tool from there...just had to do this yesterday.

I have both 32 and 64 bit installed, thus I had to make sure the javaw file on both the program files side and the program files (86x) side were running as administrator, just to cover bases.

I am able to log into the station launcher, I can get into game, but the SOE Website(s) are down currently. Cannot get into the SOE/SWG Forums to see if it is scheduled or not.

Fixed!!

If anyone running Win 7 64bit version you may need to go into the Program Files(86x) to the appropriate Javaw file and run that as admin as well. It fixed my issue.
